Twin girl

About

Two twin girls from Marti E pareu

Currently in Form Two at Sereolipi Mixed Secondary School, are at risk of dropping out and facing early marriage due to unpaid school fees. Despite their strong desire to continue learning, they were sent home when their family couldn’t afford the KES 37,000 needed. They shared their fears with Samburu Newsflash, expressing concern that without help, they may soon be married off against their will. Since joining Form One, the girls have been unable to pay any fees but were allowed to stay in Sereolipi Mixed Secondary School by a supportive principal. Now, as their peers sit for exams, they are locked out and pleading for assistance from well-wishers to help them return to school and avoid early marriage.
